  My husband and I do a lot of traveling all over central Florida due to his job. We needed a room because his job was pretty far out that day so he told me to go ahead and get a room in the area. InTown Suites had a good deal for the week and I actually checked the room before I rented it for the week. It smelled as if it has just been cleaned and I didn't see any sign of bed bugs. I was exhausted so I went ahead and payed for a room. There were no sign of bugs during the day but at night, is when the roaches came out. I went to the microwave to warm up a bowl of chili and one was crawling all over. I could no longer use it because I didn't have my cleaning products and the car was too far away from my room and it was too late (bummer). The toilet was pretty loud after it flushed so I decided to close the bathroom door and hours later when I was ready to use the bathroom again, the door was stuck I tried for 20 minutes to get the door open and it wouldn't budge. I couldn't call the front desk because they close as early as 7 pm and open as late as 11 am. My husband laughed at me when I told him about my day and how I didn't make it to the toilet because the bathroom door was jammed. I finally got the door open after two hours of trying. Later that night, I woke up out of my sleep and had to use the bathroom again and accidentally closed the bathroom door behind me (SMH). Thus tine, I was a locked in I had to bang on the door and wake my husband up so he can help open the door from the outside. That was a major safety hazard. I was pretty much done after that point. The air wasn't clean either because the vents aren't dusted and really backed up with thick lent and that's not good for someone like me who has Lupus or anyone with allergies. These are the things that I didn't look at when I checked the room out. I lifted up the remote holder to find a dead roach underneath because the maid didn't clean properly. He or she just need to have a really good talking to about proper cleaning and dusting. The next day I talked to Randy and he was awesome about it. He really understood when I explained about my Lupus and how sanitation is very important. He was even nice enough to give me a few hours to find another room and only charged me for that night. I really appreciate him being so nice and understanding. The maintenance man came just a few minutes later to fix the door so if there are any complaints about maintenance, my services were taken care of immediately. He understood my complaints and took care of the issues right away. They are in the middle of renovating which I saw a room they were working on right next to mine so give them time and it is going to be nicer rooms available for a good price.
