  My boyfriend just moved into this apartment community Oct 1st 2017.. (4937w)
  First he was NOT allowed to see the apartment he was moving into prior to moving in...
  Once givin the key he was instructed to fill out the apartment check list.. and make a list of every thing needing fixing...
  He did this...
  First he is paying for a 2/2 and has been unable to use master bathroom due to shower floor being cracked and leaking water...
  He put in a work order the maintence man came and left a paper on my counter saying it was fine.. it was only after i took a video and took it to the office did the manager take it to order a new shower floor... Now mind you its now the 23rd and the floor has been replaced.. but please see pictures to see how the maintence man left it!!!
  2nd.) The blinds in the livingroom are mismatched in color! They DO NOT close properly!! They bow out so they don't lay flat, causing gaps that you can see in from the outside! There are spray paint dripings on them where someone tried to spray paint them. (Proably explains the different colors) Some also have tape on the hole to repair the broken hole to hold them up!!
  He put in a work order to have them replaced. And on the wrk order it stated to replace the blinds in livingroom with new blinds... The maintence man left the work order stating that he replaced the blinds when in fact HE DID NOT!!! So again i go to the office with a video to show and let her know i took down all the blinds that needed to be changed, that there laying on the floor... She put in another work order to have the blinds replaced with new ones... And again he comes home and the maintence man left the work order in the counter saying he replaced the blinds when in face he DID NOT change them!!!!! He hung back up the same blinds i had laying on the floor to be changed!!! Please see attached pictures!!
  But really how hard is it to change the blinds???? If the maintence man don't want to do his job!!?? then maybe you should think about hiring a new one that does!!
  3) He put in a work order for the wall outlets... They won't even hold a phone charger plug let alone the vacuum plug!!
  Maintence man came and changed 3... Its like 5 in the livingroom alone!! He did 2 in the livingroom and 1 in the master bed room... Like really what about the rest??? The he used old ones not new ones so they are the different colors then the wall plate that goes over them..
  3) Vanity in hall bathroom. Had real bad water damage to the base.. And the doors were falling off. He put in a wrk order and the maintence came and says he installed new hinges to the doors.. well in doing so he screwed the screws thru the side wall of the vanity... Painted over the decaying wood around the base and left the wrk order saying he fixed it! It was only after i took a video to the office of the damage did they come and completly replace the vanity...
  Also complained that why is all the counters in this apt the blk marble granit EXCEPT the hall bathroom.. it has a old white counter top/sink..
  4) the shower head in the hall bathroom was broke.. it sprayed water out of the top of the head like at the ball where u move it to adjust it. And you couldnt adjust it.. you couldnt lift it up, it would just fall back down. He put in a wrk order. The maintence man came left the wrk order on the counter and said he fixed it... When in fact he DID NOT fix it... It was only after i took a video to the office showing it spraying water from the top. And asked do they provide them or is this something he (my boyfriend) is responsible for?! The manager stated no they install them so they all match!!! That shed put in another wrk order... He came the next day with an old one (dont match master bathroom, or the one he took) saying he had to order a new one... 3 weeks later still waiting for it!!
  I can say i dont think its the ladies in the office!!! They put in the work orders... Its the sorry ass maintence man that just dont want to do his job!!!
  You need to fire your maintence man! moving forward without him might do you some good.
