  I wish I read the reviews here prior to making an appointment with this office. They were unprofessional, rude at times and lazy. I showed up for my appointment and was given the complete opposite information then what I was told on the phone but it was eventually all figured out. Dr. Koss is super sweet, nice and attentive. I would continue going to her if it wasn't for the office staff. I was told it would take 2 weeks to get in the birth control I requested and would receive a phone call when it came in to schedule another appointment- this was not a problem at all. I waited 3 weeks and no call. So I called the office to figure out if there was an issue or if it came in so I could make an appointment. First I was told they didn't know what the holdup was, then I was told I had to call the pharmaceutical company myself (weird, as I have NEVER been told by a doctor to call the company about a prescription). So I called and was told they (the pharmaceutical company) doesn't speak to patients directly. I called the office back and explained this to them. They put me on hold, called the pharma company and then told me my insurance wouldn't approve the birth control. Two problems here: 1. This should have been relayed to me in a more timely manner and 2. I called my insurance company and they told me it's absolutely covered. I was then promised a phone call back from the nurse as she was busy and I needed to discuss other birth control options with her. The nurse never called me back so I called back the next day to speak with her. I left messages and was promised two times that she would call me back but that never happened. I was then told to come in in the morning and I could discuss my options then. I came in the next morning and was handed 3 brochures of possible birth control options. Never spoke to the nurse or doctor or was given any other information to answer my questions- just brochures. If that is all the information I wanted I would have googled it. I take my health concerns seriously and feel that my doctor, especially a woman's doctor (and office) should too. This office clearly does not share the sense of importance I place on my reproductive health. All in all this was very disappointing and I've since found a new doctor.
