  I tried two steaks from this company after a lady came to my door here in Nc after buying 3 boxes for $96 I called the next day and textured the number to get my refund. I never got a responses till they tried to run my card which declined bc that night in which I called to not only get a refund but to tell them my card was left at the store that I had to cancel due to someone picking it up off the counter for themselves. The guy responded I never received any message and if you had proof we could work something out, so I sent him screenshots of the message and the phone records. His response was you at two steaks from one box and got the other two boxes for free for $68 and that he wasn't going to give away free steaks bc I didn't like the texture, but had I complained about flavor that would warrant a refund. I told him from the beginning the steaks were tough and flavorless and he said his steaks don't come seasoned and the occasionally you might get a box of tough me. Then told me he never once got a complaint about his steaks but then ten minutes later told me when he's gotten complaints about the steaks being not good quality that they were just trying to get free meat and that he's not going to feed people for free. That though I ate those two steaks that I've already bought that box and that one box of new York strips was $60 and that the other two boxes were free, which the lady never said that I was getting any meat for free and that each piece of meat was $3 which would mean I should only have to pay $12 for that one box and that his reps could come get the other two boxes to resale. He said you can pay me $60 today or pay $98 dollars after today bc of the hassle he went through. I was hung up on and then he called several times from the phone he called from and then from the number in which I called for a refund that he says I didn't originally call. Yet when I called him back after he hung up and I sent him screenshots, he had no problem picking up that phone to talk to me. Therefore I paid him $25 in cash and the rest was part dated till a few days later, I should not have to pay for the steaks I won't be eating and grew refuses too give me a break since I have proof that I called and sent him texts.   I asked him to send out a rep to get the boxes and he said he's in a wheel chair and can't get around, yet he told me he was in the car that day the lady came out to sell me the meats, when to be honest he wasn't bc I watched her go to get car and get the box out. I got really stern with him that I shouldn't have to pay that much for meat I won't be eating and he said throw it away or donate it. Then he says I'm recording this conversation and that I need to change my tone bc it makes me look bad and that would give him more incentive in his part if legal actions were taken.
  I feel that he scammed me and is still trying to get his way. I refuse to pay and those steaks will remain in my freezer till a court date arises if it gets to that point
